Coach Jeff Curtis is entering his tenth season as our Infield / Hitting Coach at Collierville High School after helping lead the Dragons to a state title in 2013.  Under the tutelage of Curtis, the Dragons posted back to back seasons in 2011 and 2012 hitting over .350 as a team.  The 2011 season saw several offensive records broken under the guidance of Curtis as the Dragons secured program records for runs scored (453), hits (467), doubles (109), triples (20), home runs (42), RBI's(374) and batting average (.373).  

Coach Curtis brings the Dragon Baseball Program 10 years of baseball coaching experience.  Curtis began his coaching career at the University of Memphis in 2002 as a student assistant for Head Coach Dave Anderson who is currently the third base coach for the Texas Rangers.  After the 2002 season, he joined Coach Hopkins at Collierville High School as an assistant for the 2003 season.  

Following the 2003 Spring, Curtis pursued a Masters Degree in Teaching from Lindenwood University, MO from 2004-2006.  During the summer of 2006, he was the Assistant Coach for the Springfield Rifles of the Central Illinois Collegiate League.  

Curtis returned to Collierville High School in fall of 2006 after completing his teaching degree to serve as a Business Teacher and Assistant Baseball Coach for the Dragons.  In 8 season, Curtis has been part of 4 teams that have advanced to the State Tournament.

During the summer of 2012, Coach Curtis represented Collierville High School as an Assistant Coach for the TBCA Region 8 team.

During Coach Curtis's tenure at Collierville, 16 of his infielders have signed to play at the next level, including 4 at the Division I level.  In total, Curtis has seen 54 players sign college scholarships, 18 at the Division I level.  

Coach Curtis played baseball at Lincoln Land Community College, IL and the University of Memphis, TN for Coach Jeff Hopkins during the 2000-2001 seasons.
