Collierville first baseman Parker Phillips has announced his commitment to sign with the Austin Peay University baseball program for the 2016 season.  

Phillips is coming off a breakout Spring in which he helped lead Collierville to the school's first ever state championship.  The Sophomore was named to the Tennessee Baseball Report All-State Team and played for Team Tennessee at the Junior Sunbelt in Oklahoma this summer.  

In 2013, Phillips banged out 39 hits in 108 at bats for a team leading .361 batting average.  He produced 6 doubles, 1 triple, 6 home runs and 30 RBI's to pace the Dragon offense.  In addition, Phillips scored 37 runs and stole 20 bases last Spring.  

The Austin Peay baseball staff is extremely exited to add Parker to their 2016 signing class.
