Senior catcher/third baseman Cody Young announced that he will continue his education and baseball career at Itawamba Community College in 2015.

Young is coming off an outstanding Junior season in 2013, helping lead Collierville High School to the programs first AAA State Baseball Championship.  Last Spring, the talented catcher and third baseman paced the Dragon offense banging out 44 hits in 127 at bats (.346) including 10 doubles, 1 homerun and 23 RBI's.  Young ended the season with a (.434) on base percentage.

Itawamba Head Coach Rick Collier is very excited to add a player of Cody's caliber to his program.  Young is the third player of the 2014 class to commit including Brandon Montgomery (University of Memphis) and Kyle Dailey (Delta State University).
