The Collierville Dragons won big over White Station, 16–0, on Friday.
The Dragons got on the board in the top of the first inning when 3B Parker Burleson doubled down the left-field line. Collierville later added another run on a wild pitch to take an early lead.
CHS broke the game open with seven runs on one hit in the top of the second inning. Juniors Thomas Starrett and Preston Sumner each drew bases-loaded walks to score runs, while Garrett Stephens singled to drive in another. Freshman LF Brady Sumner added an RBI on a fielder’s choice, and a White Station error allowed another run to cross the plate.
LHP Tyler Robinson got the start for the Dragons. The junior allowed just one hit and no runs over two innings, striking out one and walking one.
Cooper Walter started on the mound for White Station, surrendering two hits and nine runs (five earned) over one and two-thirds innings while striking out two and walking six.
Senior LHP Jake Rainey and freshman Cameron MacDougall each came on in relief for Collierville and shut down the White Station lineup.
Burleson, Bradley Stubbs, Hugh Brister, Starrett, Stephens, and Aaron Sheals each recorded a hit for the Dragons. Brister led Collierville with two RBIs, finishing 1-for-2 on the day.
Eli Stewart showed patience at the plate, drawing three walks, while the Dragons totaled 13 walks as a team. 2B Jack Bogenrief stole two bases as Collierville tallied five stolen bases overall.
The Dragons were also flawless defensively, committing no errors. Starrett led the team with nine fielding chances.
Collierville returns to action Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against Conway (AR) in the 2026 home opener at Patriot Bank Park.
