Dragons Fall To Arlington In Low-Scoring Affair
4/8/2026

Both teams were strong on the bump on Tuesday, but Arlington was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 2-1 victory over Collierville Tuesday night. Josh Hull started the game for the Dragons and recorded 14 outs.

Arlington opened the scoring in the second after Luke Turner doubled, scoring one run.

Parker Burleson singled following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped Collierville tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.

Hull stepped on the mound first for the Dragons. The senior righty allowed four hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one. Harrison Polina stepped on the bump first for Arlington, giving up one hit and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking one.

After a key error made in the field by the Dragons, Arlington retook the lead in the 6th inning to make it 2-1.

Burleson led the Dragons with one run batted in. The sophomore catcher went 1-for-2 on the day.

Collierville will travel to Marion, AR to take on the Patriots on Thursday at 4:30 pm
